ROAD2EU Project Officially Launched at VIZJA University

VIZJA University officially launched the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project ROAD2EU during an online Kick-Off Meeting held on 10 October 2025 at 09:10 Warsaw time.

The meeting brought together the project implementers, students from multiple disciplines, partners and invited guests. It established a shared implementation roadmap for Roadmap for Integrating EU Policies and Strategies on Economic, Social, and Territorial Synergy in Polish Higher Education through Digital European Studies.

From project design to implementation

The Kick-Off Meeting moved ROAD2EU from formal project preparation into coordinated implementation. The agenda combined strategic discussion with practical decisions on responsibilities, academic content, digital infrastructure, quality assurance and public engagement.

• the scope and development plan of the EUSynergia platform;
• the teaching plan, including Winter and Summer Schools;
• research outputs, dissemination activities and key dates;
• quality assurance, risks, milestones, next steps and questions from participants.

Core project team

• Yan Kapranov — digital education, innovation and lifelong learning in the European Union;
• Bożena Iwanowska — digital social inclusion, EU citizenship, digital health and well-being;
• Dawid Stadniczeńko — digital regional development, EU cohesion, urban and rural synergies, and territorial governance;
• Olena Pimenowa — digital EU economic policies, transformation, growth and green-economy strategies;
• Tomasz Wierzchowski — digital cohesion, cross-border cooperation and territorial governance.

External monitoring and evaluation

Olena Semenog and Tetiana Sharova were introduced as the project’s external monitoring and evaluation experts for the 36-month implementation period. Their independent expertise will support evidence-based review of progress, quality and impact.
