From project learning to independent scholarship
These publications form part of the scholarly output developed during ROAD2EU’s first implementation year. The project’s Winter School, Summer School and international conference created a shared academic cycle for teaching, exchange and critical discussion.
The three manuscripts then developed distinct research questions and were assessed independently under the journal’s editorial and peer-review requirements. Together, they connect ROAD2EU’s educational work with rigorous, citable research on how European priorities can be translated into accountable university decisions.
Accurate description
The papers are research outputs associated with ROAD2EU’s first year. They are not direct measurements of the schools’ impact, and the Special Issue is not a conference proceedings volume.

Develops four ROAD2EU-specific instruments for making proportionate and auditable claims about activities, research products and longer-term impact: the Results-and-Claims Ladder, Claim–Evidence–Owner Matrix, Synergy Additionality Test and Digital Evidence Governance Protocol.

Responsible AI in Polish Higher-Education Administration under the EU AI Act: High-Risk Use Cases, Fundamental-Rights Impact Assessment, and Institutional Accountability
Examines how Polish higher-education institutions should classify and govern administrative AI under the EU AI Act, GDPR and Polish law. It proposes a use-case classification matrix, a FRIA–DPIA boundary map, a Four-Gate Model and an accountability file for the full AI lifecycle.

The international conference on 20–21 April 2026 provided a forum for presenting questions, testing arguments and extending scholarly dialogue.
PUBLICATION
Peer Review & Open Access
Independently developed manuscripts were assessed under the journal’s requirements and published with persistent DOI links on 21 August 2026.
The sequence shows a shared academic context; it does not claim a simple causal chain from participation to publication or impact.
Publication status and research integrity
- All three publications appear in AI, Law, Politics, Vol. 2 No. S1 (2026), published by VIZJA University.
- Each publication has an individual DOI and open-access reading formats on the journal website.
- The Special Issue is not conference proceedings: contributions were independently developed and assessed under editorial and peer-review requirements.
