ROAD2EU Economic Track Links EU Policy to Institutional Change

A ROAD2EU Economic Track session mapped European policy and funding priorities onto practical routes for institutional change.

Project coordinator Yan Kapranov joined the session led by Olena Pimenowa, whose Economic Track covered digital EU economic policies and integration, digital transformation and growth, and green economy strategies.

Working with participants, the team considered how broad European frameworks can be translated into programme design, measurable indicators and evidence-based institutional projects.

From policy alignment to measurable change

• Aligning academic programmes with relevant European education and digital policy priorities.
• Tracking green-transition indicators rather than relying on general sustainability claims.
• Designing growth projects with explicit evidence, milestones and intended institutional effects.
• Connecting EU funding opportunities with realistic implementation pathways.

The session concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Attendance. Its academic value lay in requiring participants to show how policy alignment could be demonstrated through concrete programme choices and indicators.
