Digital Education, Innovation & Lifelong Learning in the EU

Dr. Habil. Yan Kapranov is a Professor at VIZJA University and contributes to ROAD2EU through expertise in Digital European Studies, corpus-informed pedagogy, AI-assisted academic workflows, and interdisciplinary teaching. In the ROAD2EU syllabus, he is responsible for the thematic unit on digital education, innovation, and lifelong learning, with emphasis on the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan, evidence-first teaching, academic integrity, microcredentials, and quality assurance. His broader academic profile also includes teaching in European Studies, Multilingualism, Methodology of the Social Project, and Corpus Linguistics, as well as experience managing EU-funded academic projects.

Her broader academic profile at VIZJA University includes work in microeconomics, competitive strategy, entrepreneurship, business informatics, ESG reporting, and sustainable development studies, which makes her especially well aligned with the project’s economic and sustainability dimensions.

His broader legal and academic profile includes international law, migration and asylum law, public international law, diplomatic and consular law, and legal argumentation, making his expertise particularly relevant to the project’s territorial, regulatory, and governance dimensions.
