Conferences

During the implementation of the ROAD2EU project, two international scientific and practical conferences are planned as major dissemination and dialogue events.

The first conference, scheduled for 2026, will serve as an important platform for presenting the project’s initial academic, educational, and dissemination-oriented results. It will bring together students, researchers, academic staff, policymakers, local and regional stakeholders, and representatives of civil society to discuss how European Union economic, social, and territorial priorities can be meaningfully integrated into higher education in Poland through Digital European Studies. The conference will also support the wider visibility of the project by sharing insights emerging from the ROAD2EU learning pathway, including its Winter and Summer School activities, interdisciplinary thematic units, and early policy-oriented reflections.

The second conference, planned for 2028, will function as the final conference of the ROAD2EU project. It will present the project’s major outcomes, highlight its educational and research achievements, and create space for broader reflection on the long-term relevance of EU priorities for higher education, institutional innovation, and regional cooperation. As a concluding event, it will also support the dissemination of lessons learned, the exchange of good practices, and the discussion of future directions for sustaining and expanding the project’s impact beyond its formal duration.

Together, these conferences form an essential part of the ROAD2EU dissemination strategy. They are designed not only to share project results, but also to strengthen dialogue between academia and society, encourage interdisciplinary exchange, and connect ROAD2EU outputs with wider educational, institutional, and public needs. Selected conference materials, presentations, and dissemination-oriented outputs will be integrated into the official EUSynergia website, where they will contribute to the long-term visibility of the project.

Conference I – 2026

The first ROAD2EU conference will focus on the project’s emerging results and thematic directions. It will create a space for academic exchange, stakeholder dialogue, and the dissemination of initial project outputs related to EU policy integration, digital education, social inclusion, regional development, and cross-border cooperation in higher education.

Final Conference – 2028

The second ROAD2EU conference will serve as the project’s closing academic and dissemination event. It will showcase the overall achievements of ROAD2EU, present its final outputs, and open discussion on how the project’s educational, research, and policy-oriented results can continue to inform higher education practice in Poland and beyond.
